This is absolutely one of my favorite recipes! It's not too spicy and it i very filling. Here is what you'll need to get started:
Servings: 2 Time: About 30 minutes
2 tablespoons olive oil (Nancy's garlic infused oil is DELICIOUS with this recipe!)
4 cups cooked penne pasta
1 tablespoon cajun seasoning
2 tablespoons buffalo sauce
1 cup cooked sausage, sliced
2 cups cooked chicken breast, thinly sliced
2 cups heavy cream
1 cup parmesan cheese
1 tablespoon chopped green onion
Boil the penne pasta in two cups of water until soft. Remove and place to the side for now.
Heat oil in a large pot over high heat. Cook the chicken and sausage until the sausage has browned and the chicken is no longer pink. Add buffalo sauce, sprinkle over the Cajun seasoning, and stir everything to evenly coat the meats. Add the cream and bring everything to a boil.
Add in the pasta, and stir.
To finish, add in the parmesan & green onion and continue to stir. Serve and enjoy!
