Halloween Gummy Worm Cupcakes!



Makes about 12 cupcakes!



What you'll need to get started:

  • 1 (18 1/4 ounce) box chocolate cake mix

  • 3 cups of cookie crumbs (any flavor)

  • 18 ounces of chocolate frosting

  • 1 pound of gummy worms



Preheat the oven according to the cake mix package directions. Next you are going to grease and four a 12-cup cupcake pan. Prepare the cake mix according to the package instructions.


Pour batter into cupcake pans and bake as directed on the cake mix box. Let the cupcakes cool thoroughly before frosting - should take about 10 minutes.


Spread the cupcakes lightly with chocolate icing. Sprinkle cookie crumbs on top. Next, cut the gummy worms in half (as many as you'd like). Put icing onto the cut end of the worms and stick to the top of each cupcake.


Let the icing sit for ten minutes before enjoying!
