Thanksgiving Seasoning & Spice Tips

A quick message ~ ☺️

Thanksgiving is almost here and it is time to start thinking about what you will need to prepare. We have over 130 fresh seasoning blends and spices that are fresher and less expensive than the grocery store, so come on by and see what we have to offer!

We are located at 186 West Crogan Street in downtown Lawrenceville across from the historic courthouse.

Here are a few seasoning blends & spices that we know can help you on the big day:

Greens Seasoning: Greens seasoning is a blend of natural ham and bacon flavorings with a small hint of garlic. This seasoning adds a huge amount of flavor that seasons all types of leafy green veggies such as bell peppers, carrots, potatoes, onions, collard greens, and much more! Great for your holiday veggie dishes.

Herbs De Provence: Give your Thanksgiving turkey French style this year with Herbs De Provence. Rub your turkey with olive oil, add this rub, and enjoy the taste and aroma! This is a really good choice because it compliments holiday turkeys very well, and not many people season it this way so yours will stand out!

Garlic Herb Seasoning: This is a popular versatile blend that compliments meats, veggies, and pastas well. It is one of our most popular blends. Generously season the inside and outside of your turkey and your family will start asking what your secret is.

Poultry Seasoning: Turkey has never tasted so good! Poultry seasoning is a heavenly blend of rosemary, thyme, sage, marjoram, parsley herbs, and other spices; poultry seasoning is specifically designed for your Thanksgiving turkey. It also enhances the flavor of chicken.

Nutmeg: Nutmeg is a useful spice that can be used in a variety of great dishes. You can use it to make desserts like carrot cakes, spice cookies, and cream cheese frostings, as well as in meat dishes, casseroles and stews. Nutmeg goes especially well in pumpkin, squash and lamb dishes.

Raw Vanilla Bean: Vanilla is one of the best flavors out there. It is elegant, complex, rich, and it is anything but bland. Recipes that call for vanilla as a major ingredient are greatly improved by the use of fresh vanilla bean in place of vanilla extract. Raw vanilla bean is essential to making your very own homemade ice cream.

Cinnamon: Cinnamon is perfect for Thanksgiving desserts, oatmeal, French toast, sweet potatoes, couscous and spice rub. It adds rich flavor your guest have come to know during the holidays.

Lemon Herb Seasoning: Liven up the taste of chicken, seafood or vegetables with this zesty blend of lemon, basil and oregano. Lemon herb seasoning is one of our more popular blends. It is great for seasoning chicken recipes on Thanksgiving.

We have many more flavorful blends that are sure to create a special and memorable dining experience for your guest. For a full list click here!
